Audi has announced that it will be investing more than €3 billion this year. Much of this money will be going towards the Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm plants, but it's not just a growing infrastructure that Audi plans.
In 2016 alone we will be seeing the Q5 update which takes many of its design cues from the recently refreshed Q7. We will also see an all-new Q2, sitting below the Q3 as more of a coupé alternative.
The Q2 is expected to be light enough to be powered by the A1's engine range, with the highlights being the 1.4 TFSI with cylinder on demand and the efficient 1.6 TDI.
Alternative power is another key thing on Audi's mind, particularly after the problems that have risen from its diesel engines. By 2018 we will have seen the end results of the Q6 e-tron developed from the e-tron quattro concept that we've already been shown.
