Off-Road Ability
Being a Land Rover, I’m sure you’d want to know about the off-road ability. With an approach angle of 25°, a breakover of 22° and a departure angle of 33°, it’s well-eqipped for some rather serious offroading. Not to mention the impressive 50 cm wading depth.

Powertrains
You’ve probably heard a lot about the new Ingenium diesel engines introduced to other members of the range (more recently the Discovery Sport). Well, yes, they’re in the Evoque too.
Both diesel engines are turbocharged 2.0-litre units, one producing 150 PS and one producing 180 PS. The former, the 2-wheel-drive eD4 is said to emit 109 g/km and achieve an impressive 68 mpg, though how close one could get to that in the real world is a mystery! The latter, the TD4, is similarly impressive with a claimed 59 mpg and 125 g/km.
Also available is the familiar 240 PS 2.0-litre Si4 petrol engine with a claimed (and below expectations) 36 mpg and 181 g/km. Transmissions come in the form of a 9-speed ZF auto or a 6-speed manual.

My Land Rover Range Rover Evoque
I ticked almost every box until I realised how much the price had swollen. After careful negotiation I managed to get it down to £49,780. But let me justify myself... Yes, the base price is as near as makes no difference £30k. But then the next trim up is some £10k more!
